At 15, Marie Diamond lay in a deep coma, her body broken from a near-death experience. When she finally emerged, she carried back a message that would reshape her entire existence: she was here to enlighten more than 500 million people.
Most teenagers would dismiss such visions. Diamond made it her daily practice, asking God and the Universe every morning: “Show me how.”
Today, millions know her as the Feng Shui Master from “The Secret,” the woman who rearranged Bob Proctor’s furniture and watched him break through his ceiling within a year. What fewer people realize is that Diamond cracked a code most success-seekers miss entirely: your environment affects 33% of your full manifestation potential, and most people are actively working against themselves without even realizing it.

The Pillar Most Leaders Ignore
Diamond brings this message to “Pillars of Power: The Hidden Secret Behind Achieving Greatness,” where she joins fellow thought leaders including Jack Canfield, Dr. Joe Vitale, Ken Honda, Dr. John Demartini, John Assaraf, Jerry Sargeant, and Sharon Lechter to explore the five foundational dimensions of success: money, relationships, health, mental wellness, and spirituality.
When asked which pillar people overlook most, Diamond doesn’t hesitate: spirituality.
“When you connect with spirit within yourself and around you, if you are not aligned with that, you will not succeed in the other pillars,” she says. “I dedicate my success, health, and relationships to impact people. If I would not be aligned with my inner spirit, I would not have the health I have now, the relationships, the students worldwide.”
For Diamond, spirituality isn’t separate from leadership. It’s the foundation that determines whether leadership comes from ego or soul. “We see two kinds of leadership right now,” she explains. “The old leadership that is still very much in place, where people follow their own ego to become leaders. But we have that new emerging leadership through spirituality and understanding of science. That’s soul leadership. Leadership of the heart, leadership of positive impact.”
Starting Over With Five Suitcases
Belgium has 10 million people. Diamond’s mission required 500 million. The math didn’t work.
This was before the internet, so reaching millions meant going in person. Diamond immigrated to the United States with her family, five suitcases, and a couple thousand dollars. She went from being well-known in her field with thousands of students to starting over in a foreign country where she knew nobody.
Her solution was physical: a vision board. She made a small Post-it note declaring she would be in a movie seen by millions that would transform the world. Then she added a fake Oscar statue because she needed something tangible to hold the vision, something she could see and touch.

“I needed to create something physical that I could remind myself about what I was focusing on, even if I did not know anybody,” Diamond recalls.
The Oscar served two purposes. It held her movie vision, and it drew Oscar-winning clients to her door because she had already placed herself in that industry energetically. “I had put that little Oscar out, and I got my vision that I need to reach people that were in that industry.”
The 33% Nobody Talks About
Diamond’s breakthrough insight came from ancient Asian leadership principles. “For thousands of years, in the Asian tradition, environment has always been part of the leadership culture,” she explains. “In the Asian traditions, they were more aware that there’s a third part, and that is what we call the environment. Everything around you is like a three-dimensional vision board. Your environment is affecting 33.3% of your results.”
She’s seen this pattern repeatedly with top speakers and thought leaders. They call her when they hit ceilings. Bob Proctor told her after she rearranged his home, “I upgraded my energy 50%.” Jack Canfield, Rhonda Byrne—they all mastered mindset and spirit but forgot about their environment.
“People think about mind, body, and spirit, but they don’t think about what they’re sitting in,” she says. “That’s also a body. It’s not just your body, it’s the bodies around you. That’s your home, your office, even your car. Your environment is affecting your mindset, the way you live your life, what you attract back.”

The fix is often embarrassingly simple. Are you sitting with your back to the door? You’re in a subordinate position. Your brain automatically shifts into beta waves: fear, problems, pessimism. Turn your desk so you see the door, and within seconds you move into alpha waves: creativity, optimism, future focus.
“When you are in a power position, you are able to see the energy coming in,” Diamond says. “Your focus will go to the frontal cortex. You will be positive, optimistic, creative, focused on the future.”
Your Home Is Lying To You
According to Feng Shui, mirrors in bedrooms double whatever frequency you carry to sleep. Stressed? You double stress. Alone? You double loneliness. Coupled? You double partners (creating energetic crowding). Most people go to sleep stressed, then wonder why they wake up anxious.
“The first thing I always say: cover the mirrors,” Diamond advises. “You will be much calmer, more peaceful, more successful in the morning because you will have the right intention.”
This principle extends throughout your space. Your bedroom affects not just relationships and health but success itself. Wake up surrounded by clutter and you set your mood and intention for the entire day. Wake up in an inspired space and you start from a different frequency entirely.
Diamond calls your home a three-dimensional vision board because it has more impact than any paper vision board you glance at weekly. “You’re moving through it, seeing it all the time. It is subconsciously influencing you constantly.”
In Pillars of Power, Diamond explores how your environment shapes every pillar of success. Her latest book, “Your Home Is a Vision Board,” takes this further, teaching people to create vision boards based on their birthdays (different people have different energy flows, which require different approaches), place them in the right compass directions, then expand those principles throughout their homes to activate success, money, relationships, health, and spirituality.

Speaking From Energy, Not Perfection
Diamond’s first major English-language speaking engagement came at Jack Canfield’s Transformational Leadership Council. She would address colleagues who had sold millions of books, world-class speakers—all in her third language.
“I was like, okay, I either break through and they love what I’m speaking about, or I’m sinking like the Titanic,” she recalls. “But I understood that if I would share with joy and heart, even if my language was not perfect, the message would get across. The message is not just words, it’s energy.”
When the Los Angeles Tribune inducted her into their 2024 Speakers Hall of Fame alongside Les Brown, Diamond was genuinely surprised. “I never really looked at myself as a Hall of Fame speaker. I’m always focusing on creating impact on the people I’m connecting with. I never really looked for the fame or recognition.”
She focused on letting her joy, love, and passion transmit, trusting energy over linguistic perfection. The approach worked.
That humble approach to massive reach extends to her social media presence. Before going online, Diamond meditates and sets an intention to connect with people on the other side. “I take time to pray, connect consciously with the people, even if I don’t know their names. I set that intention, and people feel it. They feel I’m talking to them directly, because I am.”

The Frequency of Greatness
In Pillars of Power, Diamond addresses the often-overlooked connection between physical space and financial success. Her advice for raising your frequency is practical to the point of being uncomfortable: go where the money is.
When she was broke in the United States, she worked every day at the Four Seasons in Santa Barbara with her water bottle. Bob Proctor caught her flying economy and told her to fly first class from then on. She met a new client worth $10,000 on that first class flight.
“You want to be on land with high value,” she explains. “Go to the lobby of the most beautiful hotel. Spend your time there. The people sitting in coffee shops, they’re not the greatest leaders most of the time.”
This isn’t about wealth worship. It’s about frequency alignment. “You have to live that frequency of greatness and richness,” Diamond says. “The Universe will be like, oh, that’s your frequency. Now let me bring you things that will establish that new frequency.”
True greatness, for Diamond, remains tied to soul purpose. “When you are really in the flow of what your soul is here to do and impact, that is when you tap into your true greatness.” Everything else—environment, positioning, frequency—serves that alignment.
Diamond’s advice: stop focusing only on mindset and action. Fix your environment. It’s controlling one-third of your results whether you pay attention or not.
