The pink and purple vintage door stands tall in the entryway, which is covered from floor to ceiling in pastel pink flowers. Soft and plush rugs line whimsical walls, along with vibrant vintage phones, a classy vanity, and fanciful seating. Everything in every room is pink, and the bathroom stands out with a touch of pastel blue. It’s a real-life Barbie dream house; welcome to Hollywood Pastel Palace, created by Dina Renée.
You may have seen it before in a Juicy Couture or Dolls Kill campaign on Instagram or a viral TikTok video. Hollywood Pastel Palace has become one of the most sought-after creative spaces in Los Angeles for fashion shoots, promos, music videos, and your fun, I’m-in-my-pastel-era, girly shoot.
The founder, Dina Renée, is a renowned fashion photographer who works with top designers, stylists, and celebrities. But that’s only a piece of her creative dream. She is an entrepreneur of multiple creative businesses, a pop singer, and a songwriter with a new release titled “Ready When I’m Gone.”
Stepping Into Her Power With Pop
Before living in LA, Dina grew up in Knoxville, Tennessee, where she taught herself to play piano by ear at 3 years old. Battling health issues throughout her childhood and later supporting her mom through cancer, she turned to music and the arts for emotional expression.
As an independent artist, navigating the pressures and competitiveness of the music industry has been challenging, but Dina creates with purpose, which pushes her forward. Music is a way for her to process emotions and empower others. Her latest single, “Ready When I’m Gone,” which debuted March 21, is a pop anthem about overcoming toxic relationships, stepping into your power, and affirming your self-worth.
Celebrating Creativity, Sustainability, and Individuality
Dina’s vision is to inspire self-expression, and her entrepreneurial prowess has led her to create two other opportunities for others to engage with music and fashion.
Dream It Karaoke is a high-energy karaoke DJ experience that celebrates people’s voices at private events, parties, and across LA venues. A karaoke machine and a few CDs gave 13-year-old Dina the confidence to be where she is today. By giving people an outlet to step outside their comfort zone, her hope is for Dream It Karaoke to be a catalyst for others, too.
Seeing opportunities at every corner, Dina also launched a sustainable clothing rental company as part of her multi-faceted empire. Runway Revolve gives members unlimited access to new looks and seasonal trends to stay in style with a monthly subscription. Like her other innovations, it was born out of a desire to create spaces that celebrate creativity, sustainability, and individuality.
A Multi-Faceted Career in Bloom
Dina is a Hollywood powerhouse bridging the worlds of music, fashion, and creative entrepreneurship. Following her mantra, “Do it now,” she is expanding her presence as an LA creative by the minute. Like pastel pink flowers, you can expect her career in the music industry to flourish as she releases more hit singles. Dina also envisions taking her music on tour to bring her unique blend of artistry and empowerment to audiences worldwide. Learn more by visiting her website and following her on Instagram.
