The Wake-Up Call: Why Surface-Level Interactions No Longer Work
Every revolution starts with frustration. For Jessica, that frustration built over years of navigating soulless networking events, finance conferences, and social mixers that promised connections but delivered nothing more than transactional small talk. Everything felt hollow.
“No one actually cares about you at those things,” she admits. And honestly? She wasn’t wrong. Then came the pandemic—a global pause that forced everyone to reconsider everything, including how we relate to each other. The isolation, the endless Zoom calls, the realization that proximity doesn’t equal connection—it was the final push Jessica needed. “After COVID, so many of us realized we were starving for meaningful relationships. But where do you even start? At a bar? On a dating app? Those spaces are way too surface-level,” Jessica shares.
Jessica decided to create the experience she wished existed. “I knew I had a knack for connecting people. I’d already matched 25 couples and built deep friendships and partnerships. Attendees have already requested editions in Los Angeles, Vancouver, Miami, and London, and Jessica is considering expansion—but only if it aligns with her core values.
“I’ve heard from people in Vancouver, London, Miami and LA. The demand is there, but the challenge is ensuring the same depth and commitment,” she explains. Beyond new locations, Jessica also sees opportunities to tie The Align Experience® to major cultural moments, seamlessly integrating it into festivals and industry conferences. “If we can align with gatherings where people are already traveling for something meaningful, that could be powerful,” she shares.
Expanding the event to new cities and bigger venues is more than about numbers, it revolves around maintaining the integrity which makes The Align Experience® truly one of a kind.
