Prominent financial literacy expert, renowned author, and beloved radio talk show host, Larry Steinhouse, is gearing up to bring a new level of sweetness to Wilson Borough. Steinhouse plans to transform a previously neglected food stand located at the corner of Butler and South 23rd streets into an ice cream haven. Aptly named “The Ice Cream Corner,” the new establishment at 2300 Butler St. is slated to open its doors on April 1, 2023.
A Bucks County resident, Steinhouse is no stranger to innovative ventures. However, The Ice Cream Corner is not merely about serving frozen treats. Steinhouse’s vision for this parlor extends beyond conventional ice cream sales. It’s about integrating financial literacy into everyday life, blending delectable ice cream flavors with servings of knowledge that can make a difference in people’s lives.
“Our goal at The Ice Cream Corner isn’t just to sell ice cream,” said Steinhouse. “We want to have some of the best ice cream available in the country and also lead by example here in the local community bt supporting the people and giving back.”

Building a sense of community lies at the heart of this endeavor. Steinhouse is actively establishing collaborations with local schools and non-profit organizations. His goal is to improve financial literacy among both children and adults within the Wilson Borough community.
The community’s response to Steinhouse’s initiative has been overwhelmingly positive. Residents have expressed excitement about this novel approach to financial education, appreciating the blend of delicious ice cream and practical financial wisdom.
As the opening date for The Ice Cream Corner approaches, anticipation within Wilson Borough is palpable. If the early response is any indicator, Steinhouse’s unique blend of ice cream and financial literacy is set to be a game-changer. As for what the future holds, the borough waits with bated breath and a sweet tooth.
