Annual YBNB Business Conference Aims to Empower Minority Entrepreneurs

San Diego, CA – Young, Black & ‘N Businesses (YBNB) is set to host its annual Business Conference (BizCon) at the San Diego Convention Center on April 5-6, 2023. The event, held between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., aims to provide minority entrepreneurs and small business owners with valuable resources, networking opportunities, and the chance to extend their reach in the industry.

YBNB’s CEO, Roosevelt Williams III, emphasized the significance of the event, stating that it “will allow early emerging entrepreneurs the opportunity to extend their reach, make more connections, meet more clients and help more people of color achieve their business goals.” The two-day conference focuses on connecting, collaborating, and creating opportunities with industry experts, influencers, and businesses. Aspiring business owners and problem solvers are encouraged to attend.

Participants can expect to gain knowledge on a variety of business topics, including online marketing, list building, loyalty development, and public relations. Tickets for the event are available at various price points: General admission ($47), VIP admission ($97), All Access ($147), and Executive Diamond admission ($2,000).

The conference will kick off with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on April 5 at 9:30 a.m., featuring Assembly member David Alvarez, Daniel Fitzgerald (President of the San Diego & Imperial SBDC Network), and Jordan Marks (Chief Deputy Assessor/Taxpayer Advocate for the San Diego County Assessor/Recorder/County Clerk). Attendees can look forward to engaging visuals, such as the ribbon-cutting event, conference registration, and guest speakers at panel discussions.
