Tips to succeed As A Young Entrepreneur – Michael Streets

Do you believe you deserve to be successful right now? Unfortunately, most young entrepreneurs don’t because they’ve been told by society and the educational system that success is a random and out-of-reach occurrence, rather than the result of incremental consistent improvement. As a result, they give up on their dreams, waste all of their time, and procrastinate. But this doesn’t have to be the case for you. As Michael Streets explains, you have every right to succeed as a young individual provided you have the discipline, plan, and suitable market.

Michael Streets is an entrepreneur who started young. At just 19, he dropped out of university and launched his e-commerce business, breaking through 6-figures within a few short months. Today, four years later, he’s an investor and corporate advisor running multiple 7-figure businesses, making 8-figure deals with clients from all over the world, and lives in multiple countries.

Having succeeded and failed at a young age, Michael knows the struggles young entrepreneurs face on a day-to-day basis. Dealing with your mindset, money, and clients is not easy. That’s why he’s committed to helping fellow entrepreneurs fulfill their potential without landing themselves in crippling debt or making decisions that could ruin their future. He describes accelerating the success of other pioneers as his passion.

As Michael explains, a big part of entrepreneurship is a mind game. In other words, if you want to win, you need to allow yourself to be successful and develop an abundance mindset. How do you do that?

First, focus on acquiring skills that very few people have. See, if you were the best in the world at something, do you think your age would matter? Or your location? Or the inflation rate? Exactly. Business owners would see you as an equal and would love to hire you or do business with you. That’s why Michael stresses the importance of reading books and constantly learning new skills.

Second of all, find friends who share the same mission as you. There’s a great quote: You’re the average of the five people you spend the most time with. If you hang around people with no ambition, they bring you down. On the flip side, when you surround yourself with five winners, you become the 6th.

Finally, Michael suggests you negotiate with yourself. When you’re young, you’re prone to making bad decisions, and sometimes, you will choose pleasure over purpose. This is why you need to set clear goals, take action and don’t get distracted. Don’t tolerate mediocrity.

All in all, if you want to succeed at a young age, you need to break your mental locks, constantly educate yourself, surround yourself with people who are better than you, and ultimately push yourself to become a better person. You have every right to become successful, even when you’re young.
