This past weekend The Los Angeles Tribune held it’s annual “Women’s Quantum Leap Summit” that brought together some of the world’s top thought leaders in Women’s Leadership for a live, global televised event. Some of the featured speakers included New York Times Bestselling Author Sharon Lechter (Rich Dad, Poor Dad) T.V. Personality Forbes Riley, Star of the hit film “The Secret” Marie Diamond and many more. One of the featured speakers and guests of honor was Dame Doria Cordova who is one of only five people on the planet to receive a lifetime achievement award from The Los Angeles Tribune. Other recipients of the past have included Jeff Hoffman co-founder of Priceline.com and Lisa Nichols.
Dame Doria (DC) Cordova, PhD has been able to develop socially responsible businesses. Doria is a humanitarian, a philanthropist, an author and the CEO and owner of Global Excellerated Business School for Entrepreneurs. She is also known for the Money And You program which has inspired some of the best-known business education and wealth experts. Today, she shares her personal experiences in helping some of the great leaders in the world, thereby leveraging her own purpose. She also discusses creating your own business empire, referencing the philosophies of thought legends like Buckminster Fuller.
Moe Rock the CEO of the Los Angeles Tribune credited Dame Cordova’s legacy and social imprint that has spanned over four decades to create a world of sufficiency as the reason for this accrument. “Truly a pleasure and privilege to be able to honor Dame Cordova today with a lifetime achievement award honoring her body of work that has lasted several decades continuing the legacy of Buckminster Fuller We appreciate you” he said in reference to the award.
