Fabrice Sopoglian Brings the French Touch to LA

LA-based French Producer Fabrice Sopoglian is no stranger to success. The acclaimed host and documentary producer is celebrating over 10 years of achievement in the television industry.

Sopoglian, who has been dubbed the godfather of French Reality TV, is best known for being the host of French reality TV series, Les Anges, for the past 11 years. Throughout the over 600 episodes of the show, Fabrice has hosted A-list celebrities Kim Kardashian, Snoop Dogg, DJ Khaled and more as guest stars. In addition to hosting Les Anges, Fabrice has developed and produced a long list of projects including The Mike Tyson Academy, the launch video introducing Mike Tyson’s world-class training facilities, and the television show Sleepless with Coolio.

“The key is doing an outstanding job through hard work and dedication.” Said Fabrice of his enduring success in the industry. “Once you become known for your work ethics, the word spreads and networking happens naturally.”

As he reflected on the past decade plus of his work in the TV and film industry, Fabrice expressed his gratitude for having had the opportunity to produce The VIF, a “masterpiece of a story” about fashion designer Christian Audigier of brand Ed Hardy that won 3 awards at the Beverly Hills Film Festival. The VIF directed by Didier Beringuer, which has now won 14 awards worldwide, has been released in pay-per-view by Sonifi group to 1 million hotel rooms in the US. It is currently available through major providers such as Verizon, Apple TV and Amazon and will be released at the end of June in France on Canal + VOD.

Fabrice is also the co-producer of American Badass, a documentary about the life of iconic actor Michael Madsen of Kill Bill and Reservoir Dog fame. As part of his recent projects, Sopoglian is developing a reality series about a popular soccer player.

Despite his constant success, Fabrice commented that “happiness is the new rich,” a realization he said opened him up to being very selective about the projects he spends time developing through his company 400 Blows Production Inc.
