March 2021 – Hailing from the state of Virginia, Isaac Mather is a talented artist with a focus on creating music that blurs the lines between hip-hop and modern rap music. More importantly, his sound is driven by a very deep and reflective message, as his lyrics and attitude embrace honest Christian values. He wants to reach out to people from all walks of life and tell them that they should never be afraid of being who they are because we are all special and one-of-a-kind!
In addition to being a rapper, Isaac is also a proficient music producer and songwriter, and he is also an audio engineer. This means that he is very involved in different creative stages when it comes to his songs, and he doesn’t only rap on a beat but rather creates beautiful listening experiences for his audience. Isaac aims to truly reach out to the audience and connect with them with vulnerable lyrics that deal with real issues. Sometimes, musicians tend to focus on the usual lyrical cliches, and this is a missed opportunity to be able to connect with others on a deeper level. What’s even more important is definitely the fact that Isaac has been upfront about his own struggles. As someone with Tourette’s Syndrome, he knows what it is like to face challenges in the way others might relate to you on a personal level. Through his music, he wants to take the opportunity to be upfront and inspire others.
Currently, there is a lot in store for Isaac. He is now working on a project that involves dropping new music every month throughout the whole year. He is also going to team up with some big names in the industry and create music that will once more push the boundaries of his creativity and vision. Whenever possible, Isaac would love to take his music on the road, and he is now working on setting up a college tour throughout the USA! With so much talent, passion, and focus on tap, the possibilities are truly endless. Recently, Isaac also got a shoutout from 2 notable artists: Andy Mineo and Lecrae, two of the most critically acclaimed Christian rappers in the game.
