Please introduce yourself and how you first got into this field of work.
My name is KellyAnne and I got into producing my own shows surprisingly enough, as a result of the pandemic and the restrictions associated with it. I had a product line on the shelves of many boutiques, spas and salons prior to Covid and was doing rather well. Unfortunately, like many, when the pandemic hit, it shut everything down. With it, my business and finances. Anxious and fearful of my uncertain future, I happened to come upon a show featuring American Vogue Editor-in-chief, Anna Wintour. She was talking about the fashion industry and how hard hit the designers and models had been. It was then that I began thinking of ways I can potentially help both the fashion and entertainment industries. I came up with a show called Models Talk that I would then produce and launch on KAFTV (KellyAnne Fashion TV) on the Roku channel. This show showcases “role model” celebrities, entertainers, actors, designers and models. It has become quite an inspiring show.
Who were some of your influences growing up?
Growing up I had many influences, although I must say that my grandfather was my biggest. An African American man that could speak more than 1 language, he was fluent in English, Spanish and French. He was a boxer and a musician. He made me read daily with him and we enjoyed fishing, singing, bowling and shame on him, the horse race track where I learned to place a bet to win or show. I laugh just reminiscing about it. He also taught me to never make a promise unless I’m willing to keep it and to never skimp on my dreams because if you do someone else will be happy to take that dream for themselves and make it come true.
What has been your favorite project to work on so far?
My favorite project to work on thus far has been my Roku show on KAFTV, “Models Talk”. This show has allowed me to give back and enjoy the beauty & inspiration that is within so many entertainers that I otherwise would have missed out on. This has also allowed so many talented entertainers to be the role models that many seek. I am proud that this is not a show that sensationalizes negativity or one that focuses on gossip but a place where people can share the beauty of who they are, their passions, and inspire others to pursue their own dreams. Love is powerful and this show has allowed love to flow freely.
What has been one of the biggest highlights/achievements of your career?
One of the biggest highlights of my career was when I was invited to Paris. I had created a product line that led me to be involved with a world Beauty Pageant. After setting up my beauty booth I was approached by 3 beautiful women. They asked about my product line and had the most beautiful accents. I offered to give them a sample each and told them to let me know how they liked it since they would be in town for the next few days. Two days later while assisting a model, these ladies came back to my beauty booth and told me that they loved the product and thought my presentation of it was so lovely that they wanted to invite me to Paris. Thinking they were joking I asked them who they were. It was then that they informed me that they were the founders of this pageant and the finale would be held in Paris 6 weeks from that date. I knew I had something special and I also quickly came to realize to treat people in such a way that they remember your kindness and return. This moment would forever be a highlight in my career.

What to you is non-negotiable?
What is non-negotiable for me, is giving up on myself and the dreams I have that are yet to be realized. Even when at times things weren’t easy for me, as many things aren’t, I choose to dig deep within to make sure that I renew my mindset and gird up with strength and remain steadfast and crystal clear in carrying out my vision.
If you had a chance to work alongside anybody who would that be? Why?
If I could work alongside anybody it would be Oprah Winfrey. She has walked in the public view for so many years and we have seen her rise. We have witnessed her gains, her sorrows, her failures and triumphs. She teaches us to believe in ourselves. I’m sure she could teach me so many things, and I would be incredibly honored for the chance to work alongside of her.

What projects do you have coming up?
I have received such great reviews for my Models Talk show which features both inspiring men and women. We will be hosting a Launch Party of KAFTV either this Fall or Spring of 2022 depending on reopening status. I am now in the process of producing another show which is geared towards men. I can’t disclose too much on it yet but it’s long overdue and we have since already secure 2 celebrity guests as well as sponsors. I am extremely excited and believe it will also be a well-received show by all.
