In recent years we are witnessing a rapid growth of social networks and content offered to users.
Many times, they are “mass” content that only serve to create more web traffic, not informing the end user.
This is not the case of Team Oltrepò, a community born in 2017 from an idea of Tommaso Chiesa who, in small steps, is renewing the way to communicate the territory of Oltrepò Pavese.
Oltrepò Pavese is a geographical area located in Lombardy, 50 km from Milan, bordering the Piedmont region, the Liguria region and the Emilia Romagna region. Home of great wines such as Pinot Noir, Croatina and Chardonnay and of great typical products such as Salame di Varzi DOP, Oltrepò Pavese is more and more destination for Italian tourists and not in search of traditions, cultures and territories still little known.
The community was created to share on its channels multimedia content dedicated to the territory, making it essential to share users.
To date, more than 15 thousand people have joined the community, which has become a social reference point when talking about Oltrepò Pavese.
On Team Oltrepo you can find pictures, videos, trekking tips, where to stop to learn about the typical local products and also general information about the area.
Tommaso Chiesa, together with Giulia Bellazzi – user project manager-, strengthen their online presence thanks to the Oltrepò Pavese.com portal, a milestone dedicated to the territory, created by Patrizio Chiesa in 1999.
The innovative aspect of this community is that it aims to enhance a territory still little known, through a fixed and constant presence on social networks.
With an average of 340 shared contents every year, 25 thousand average video views and almost 1 million impressions per month among the various social channels.
Team Oltrepò is preparing to become one of the Italian tourism start-ups in the coming months.
Enhancement of the territory, its typical products and local businesses will be the points on which the start-up will focus.
Interesting are also the possibilities given to companies, which through Team Oltrepò can make themselves known to increase their online visibility.
