How Popular Instagram Fashion Influencer Lena Got Her Start

When you look at the thousands of photos on Lena’s Instagram page, you will begin to notice a theme involving bold hues, fancy bags, and high heels. You will also notice that you never get to catch a glimpse of her face. She is always masterfully hiding it just enough so you wouldn’t be able to notice her when she’s walking down the street (even though this actually still happens sometimes). The mysterious and popular fashion influencer Lena has millions of followers who can’t wait to see the next colorful outfit she has put together.

So, who is this mystifying and popular Instagrammer? Lena is originally from Ukraine but left in 1996 to move to New York, seeking better opportunities. Her mother was already in the US at that time, and was getting assimilated into the culture really well. Back in Ukraine, there were not that many fashion options, so she was astonished at just how many options there were for putting together outfits in America.

Her obsession with shoes began when she noticed her mother had an incredible pair of Steve Madden shoes. She was so mesmerized by them that her mother let her have them. That became her first pair of shoes, which would start a lifelong obsession with them, especially high heels.

Her other healthy addiction is designer bags, which she also began collecting around 20 years ago. When it comes to her obsession with heels, she can trace it back to over 20 years ago. When she came to the United States, she simply couldn’t believe at the enormous variety that was available in stores. This was a far cry for the situation back in her home country. Coach was her first designer bag, and now she has grown to love Hermes bags above all others.

She really loves her Hermes bags. In fact, she loves them so much that she gets them custom-made sometimes. However, it can take quite a while to get the final product. On average, it takes around 9-12 months for her to receive a Hermes bag made exclusively for her. In some cases, it can even take a few years. Her favorite Hermes colors as of right now are Rose Tyrien, Anemone, Vert Emeraude, Rose Scheherazade, and Mimosa.

Her Instagram page was originally more of a hobby, yet has now become a part-time job for her that she loves. Lena loves playing around with photography. Even though she isn’t the one taking the actual photos, she edits all of them. There’s no fancy DSLR cameras used, just an iPhone camera. She doesn’t even use any filters, but does process all of the photos in apps like Facetune since the iPhone camera doesn’t do a great job at bringing out the bold colors she wears.

While still shrouded in a healthy amount of mystery, you may now know Lena just a little bit more, especially how she began her passionate love affair with fashion.
