Tyson Foods Warns ‘The Food Supply Chain Is Breaking’ Amid Coronavirus Pandemic

Over 1,000 employees of meat processing companies like Tyson, JBS, and Smithfield have tested positive for the virus, forcing the temporary closure of at least 15 plants.

As of late, Tyson Foods has been compelled to briefly delay tasks at various plants following flare-ups of COVID-19, or on account of staffing deficiencies brought about by the pandemic.
